When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things. And the reason they were able to do that was that they’ve had more experiences or they have thought more about their experiences than other people.
Steve Jobs, 1995
Pictures the windmills that grace the landscape like a painting out of time past, the tulip fields that shape like a colorful rug, the castles, the canals and the churches, a beautiful young lady riding their bike with bucket of flowers.
Netherlands people never do something ordinary. They always go beyond standards. They always have this thing about quality living standards.
They bake the most delicious bread, they sell flowers at a very low price, they make 10.000 km bike track, they let their people freed their sexual orientation and legalizing gay marriage, they let people enjoy their lives.
They appreciate people beyond their differences. And let them be comfortable with whoever they wanna be.
And so that, they experience more. They grasp more. They produce more. They spare a space for innovation to grow.
Who would ever think of wind energy converter as beautiful as Netherlands windmill?
Who would ever think of something like making typography from bacteria?
Who would ever think of making flying car?
Who would ever think of making buildings that floating in the water?
Creativity is a lifestyle in Netherlands. It grows beyond generation, and stand as a tradition.
And all that leaves us with a thought, have we ever really experience life in a deep manner, and let us connect the dots and synthesizing things?
